I saw the rug at a local museum in a children's area and thought it would be perfect for my toddler grandson who loves Thomas the train and has lots of track and cars. I don't know how it will wear, etc., because it isn't in my house.

The minute the rug was unrolled, all three grandchildren, three and under, were on it with their trucks and trains, ready to play. The three year old began naming all the buildings by the businesses he thought were in them. Very much enjoyed.

This is the best investment we have made to date. My husband and I take care of our three grandchildren ages 7 months to 8 yrs.
